ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Bausch & Lomb's commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace has earned the global eye health company a place on the Top 50 Companies for Diversity list for the second year in a row.
Bausch & Lomb rose to No. 33, up from last year's ranking of No. 41, according to DiversityInc magazine, which conducts the national survey on corporate diversity. More than 200 corporations participated in this year's survey.
The rankings are based on an analysis of a company's human capital, CEO commitment, corporate communications and supplier diversity initiatives.
"How well a company manages its hiring, recruitment and retentions practices directly affects its competitive edge," said Luke Visconti, partner and co-founder of DiversityInc. "Bausch & Lomb's excellence in every aspect of managing diversity is what makes it one of America's leading companies."
Details of the listings, the methodology and the diversity strengths of the winning companies, including Bausch & Lomb, will appear in the June issue of DiversityInc magazine.
