Bausch & Lomb to Participate at
Two Investor Conferences
in May 2005

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Bausch & Lomb (NYSE:BOL) announced today that Company management will participate in a discussion of the Company's operations at the Morgan Stanley Third Annual Global Healthcare Unplugged Conference in Miami on Wednesday, May 4. 

Additionally, on Tuesday, May 10, management will present an overview of the Company's operations at the Baird 2005 Growth Stock Conference in Chicago.
