Two-Year Clinical Trial Results of Retisert

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - On Tuesday, May 3, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Bausch & Lomb (NYSE:BOL) and Glenn J. Jaffe, M.D., of Duke University Eye Center, will hold a briefing for investors and media on the two-year results of a clinical trial with Retisert (fluocinolone acetonide intravitreal implant) 0.59 mg, for the treatment of chronic non-infectious uveitis affecting the posterior segment of the eye. Approved by FDA, Retisert is scheduled for a mid-year U.S. launch.
The briefing will take place concurrent with the annual meeting of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO).
The briefing will be Tuesday, May 3, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Mistral Room on the mezzanine level in the Renaissance Hotel, 1617 SE 17th Street, Ft. Lauderdale, near the convention center site of the ARVO meeting.
